Get Recognition with the Freelance Success Stories Contest
One way of getting recognition as a writer is through winning writing competitions. Be honest if you would want to hire a writer, and you could choose between an unknown writer with no proof of writing success or somebody that won several first prizes in writing competitions who would you choose?
Wouldn't it be great to have proof
for your writing success?
I recently (16th September) published a post about my Writing Success
(you can see it directly below this post)
How about writing a Success Story about YOUR writing success yourself?
On this Blogspot - scrolling down a little - you can see on the left side a list of interesting Short Story Publishers or you can enter
the FREELANCE SUCCESS STORIES CONTEST !!!!
This year's contest has a deadline of December 31. It's open to any writer and should be between 800-1,500 words in length. As usual,
'There is no entry fee'.
'The first place prize is increased
to $500 along with publication
in the 2010 Writer's Market!!!'
Entries can be sent to writersmarket@fwmedia.com with "Freelance Success Stories Entry" in the subject line.
GOOD LUCK!!!
P.S. feel free to write a comment on this post about how you won this competition and about how happy you are that you read about it on HP's Happy WRITING Blogspot :)
